Jacki Johnson, Chief Executive Officer
BAppSc (OT), EMBA, GradDip Safety Science Jacki Johnson was appointed Chief Executive Officer of IAG’s New Zealand operation in November 2010. Prior to this she was based in Australia as CEO of IAG’s The Buzz, Australia’s online insurer. She is a director of Community First Credit Union and a founding member of the Personal Injury Education Foundation in Australia.
Jacki has held a number of senior positions in IAG, most recently as chief executive officer business partnerships, managing IAG's risk management services businesses which included the New South Wales and Victoria workers' compensation fee based businesses, safety consulting and national employer services (including provision of self insurance services). She also had responsibility for the third party distribution of CGU and Swann Insurance branded products through financial institutions, affinity groups, motor dealers and motor manufacturers.
With over 20 years experience in insurance Jacki has been a key contributor to claims management programmes, policy development and rebuilding strategies that have come about following some of Australia’s most significant and recent natural disasters.
Jacki has also held roles in organisational effectiveness and group strategy, and led the integration of IAG and CGU's workers compensation business. Before joining the Group in 2001, she held senior positions with Allianz Insurance, HIH Insurance and IRS Total Injury Management. |

Mary-Jane Daly, Executive General Manager State Insurance
BCom, MBA Mary-Jane Daly was appointed to the role of Executive General Manager (EGM) State Insurance, in June 2009. As EGM she is responsible for leading the State business including the Personal and Business Insurance Sales teams, State Claims and the Customer Insights and Service team. Mary-Jane also has the responsibility of leading IAG in NZ's National Claims Services team. Prior to this appointment she was Chief Financial Officer for IAG in NZ having joined the company in October 2006. Before joining IAG Mary-Jane spent four years with Fonterra as Group Treasurer and Risk Manager. She has a strong background in banking and finance with extensive experience in a variety of roles both in New Zealand and the UK. |

Karl Armstrong, Executive General Manager NZI and Business Partners
ANZIIF (Snr Assoc), Dip Mgmt (Open) Karl Armstrong was appointed Executive General Manager of NZI in August 2008. Before becoming EGM of NZI Karl was Head of Risk Management and Underwriting. He joined NZI in 1971 and spent 18 years' working for NZI and GA in the UK. Karl returned to New Zealand in 1994, and set up the Accident Insurance division in 1998 when ACC was opened to competition. His experience includes underwriting and risk management, reinsurance, sales, broker relationship management and marketing. |

Craig Olsen, Executive General Manager Integration
Craig was appointed in April 2012 to lead the integration of direct insurance brand AMI into IAG’s New Zealand operations. He has 17 years’ experience working in insurance and is particularly experienced at working in areas of business undergoing significant transformation. Craig began working with CGU - IAG’s intermediated insurance brand in Australia - in 2000 where he held several senior state and national positions within the Workers Compensation division.
In June 2008 he was appointed General Manager, Workers Compensation with responsibility for CGU’s fee-based and risk workers’ compensation, self insurance services and safety and risk services.
In September last year Craig joined IAG’s operations in Asia as the Chief Representative of Indonesia responsible for the initial facilitation of IAG’s entry into that market.
Prior to joining CGU Craig worked with HIH Insurance as the New Zealand National Compensation Claims Manager, with HIH Winterthur Workers Compensation, NZI Workers Compensations (SA) Limited and the South Australian WorkCover Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Accountancy and in 2007 was named the Australian Financial Review BOSS Young Executive of the Year. |

Dan Coman, Chief Financial Officer
Dan Coman joined as Chief Financial Officer in April 2010. Prior to this he was based in London as Global Head of Financial Control for the Wealth Management division of Barclays PLC.
Dan commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Auckland and moved to the UK in 1989 where he spent a further 6 years with PwC, 3 years with Schroder Investment Management and joined Barclays in 1999. In over 10 years with Barclays he fulfilled several roles including CFO for the Investment Management business, Life Insurance Company and Global Private Banking business.
As CFO for IAG in New Zealand Dan is responsible for Business Services which incorporates Marketing & Reputation, Strategy, Financial and Management accounting, Legal, Compliance and Risk, Acturial, Property/Procurement, Lantern Insurance and other corporate services. |

Allan Dornan, Chief Information Officer
BA, ASIP (Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals) Allan Dornan joined IAG in November 2007. Prior to this he was IT Manager for Lumley General Insurance - his first role in New Zealand having arrived here from the UK in late 2004. In the UK Allan held a number of senior management roles at Microsoft, working with some of the UK’s most successful companies and leading edge technologies. Before that he spent 10 years at Norwich Union, the UK’s largest insurer.
As CIO Allan is responsible for Technology and Technical Services which incorporates the TS, Product, Pricing and Personal Lines Underwriting teams for IAG in New Zealand.

Tanya Hadfield, Executive General Manager Human Resources
Tanya Hadfield joined IAG in February 2011 as Executive General Manager Human Resources. In this role Tanya is responsible for setting and executing an integrated people strategy across the IAG group of companies.
Tanya’s career in HR is extensive, spanning Hospitality, Manufacturing, Health and Insurance industries, with companies such as Sheraton Hotels, Fisher and Paykel, Auckland Healthcare, Sovereign Insurance, ACE Insurance and Royal Sun Alliance (RSA). Her most recent role as Regional Director of HR for RSA’s Asia Middle East Region saw her leading the “People Agenda” across a diverse region including Emerging Markets of the Middle East, India and China and mature markets of Singapore and Hong Kong. Tanya is passionate about developing future leaders and has a real belief in the power of teamwork.

Dean MacGregor, Executive General Manager Canterbury Recovery
As Executive General Manager Canterbury Recovery, Dean is charged with developing and delivering short and long-term earthquake recovery and response strategies across all of IAG's New Zealand brands and key stakeholders. He has accountability for the strategic and operational effectiveness of IAG’s Canterbury earthquake programme including: ensuring streamlined processes and systems, determining funding and policy needs, and communication with relevant industry, community and government groups.
Following the September 2010 earthquake, Dean showed exceptional leadership in running IAG’s response team, Project Canterbury. Given both the strategic and operational impact of the February earthquake, Dean’s role was elevated to a position on IAG’s Executive Team. Dean lives in Canterbury and feels privileged to lead IAG’s team in helping to rebuild the region. Prior to the earthquakes Dean had been with IAG for more than 15 years, most recently in senior claims roles. |
