Ian Foy, Chief Executive Officer
MA, MBA, FCII
Mr Ian Foy was appointed CEO IAG New Zealand Limited in July 2008. Previously he was Head of NZI after the acquisition of NZI by IAG New Zealand in 2003 and Director of Business Operations and Direct from 2000. Before joining NZI, Mr Foy was Managing Director of CGU Bonus, a specialist UK commercial insurer and subsidiary of CGU Insurance Group. He also has an additional 10 years insurance experience with Aviva Plc in the UK working in a range of operational and strategic roles. Mr Foy studied experimental psychology at Cambridge University before completing an MBA at Henley Management College. He is married and his interests include music, film, tennis, cooking and good wine. |

Mary-Jane Daly, Executive General Manager State Insurance
BCom, MBA
Ms Mary-Jane Daly was appointed to the role of Executive General Manager (EGM) State Insurance, in June 2009. As EGM she is responsible for leading the State business including the Personal and Business Insurance Sales teams, State Claims and the Customer Insights and Service team. Ms Daly also has the responsibility of leading IAG NZ's National Claims Services team. Prior to this appointment she was Chief Financial Officer for IAG NZ having joined the company in October 2006. Before joining IAG Ms Daly spent four years with Fonterra as Group Treasurer and Risk Manager. She has a strong background in banking and finance with extensive experience in a variety of roles both in New Zealand and the UK. |

Karl Armstrong, Executive General Manager NZI
ANZIIF (Snr Assoc), Dip Mgmt (Open)
Mr Karl Armstrong was appointed Executive General Manager of NZI in August 2008. Prior to this he was Head of Risk Management and Underwriting. Mr Armstrong joined NZI in 1971 and spent 18 years' working for NZI and GA in the UK. Mr Armstrong returned to New Zealand in 1994, and set up the Accident Insurance division in 1998 when ACC was opened to competition. Mr Armstrong’s experience includes underwriting and risk management, reinsurance, sales, broker relationship management and marketing. |

Travis Atkinson, Executive General Manager Business Partners
ANZIIF (Snr Assoc), Grad Dip Bus Admin
Mr Travis Atkinson is the Executive General Manager of Business Partners, responsible for the financial institution, travel, consumer credit and warranty insurance divisions. Prior to this appointment, Mr Atkinson was previously the National Broker Sales Manager for NZI's branch network. Mr Atkinson has spent 25 years in the New Zealand insurance industry within IAG NZ and has held a variety of management roles ranging from managing various State Insurance branches to being the National Manager of IAG NZ's Auckland broker business. |

Dan Coman, Chief Financial Officer
Mr Dan Coman joined as Chief Financial Officer in April 2010. Prior to this he was based in London as Global Head of Financial Control for the Wealth Management division of Barclays PLC. Mr Coman commenced his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Auckland and moved to the UK in 1989 where he spent a further 6 years with PwC, 3 years with Schroder Investment Management and joined Barclays in 1999. In over 10 years with Barclays Mr Coman fulfilled several roles including CFO for the Investment Management business, Life Insurance Company and Global Private Banking business. As CFO for IAG NZ Mr Coman has overall responsibility for business planning and strategy, financial and management accounting, business performance reporting, legal, compliance and risk activity, property and other corporate services. |

Allan Dornan, Chief Information Officer
BA, ASIP (Associate of the Society of Investment Professionals)
Mr Allan Dornan joined IAG in November 2007. Prior to this he was IT Manager for Lumley General Insurance - his first role in New Zealand having arrived here from the UK in late 2004. In the UK Mr Dornan held a number of senior management roles at Microsoft, working with some of the UK’s most successful companies and leading edge technologies. Before that he spent 10 years at Norwich Union, the UK’s largest insurer. |

Venasio-Lorenzo Crawley, Executive General Manager Marketing and Reputation
Mr Venasio-Lorenzo (Vena) Crawley joined IAG as Executive General Manager Marketing and Reputation in February 2009. Prior to this he was Head of Marketing and Product Management for ASB Group / Sovereign. Mr Crawley’s wide reaching career has seen him working in seven different industries including senior management roles within the Telecommunications, IT and retail industries with 14 years in insurance. His areas of expertise are in Customers, Markets and Products. He is also passionate about business growth, building future leaders and exploring possibilities. Mr Crawley is also a Board Trustee for Workbase, the New Zealand Centre of Workforce Literacy Development. |

Mandy Davies, Acting Executive General Manager Human Resources
Ms Davies joined IAG NZ in 2007 as Organisational Development Manager, Human Resources before being appointed Acting EGM HR June 2010. Prior to this appointment, she has worked in health, manufacturing and professional services in both Australia and New Zealand. Ms Davies studied in Melbourne gaining a degree in Health Sciences and a Masters in Human Resource Management and is committed to ongoing personal growth and development. Ms Davies’ passion is to transform cultures to improve business results, she is known for building strategies to generate high performance and highly engaged employees; awakening peoples ideas to what’s possible; painting a picture of the future; and generating commitment to change. |
